A group of hackers are taking over downtown Wichita this weekend for a “hackathon” and they want the public to join in on the event.
“We call ourselves a civic hacking group,” said Open Wichita Founder Seth Etter.
Etter and his team will be out in full force on Saturday and Sunday at Wichita’s Riverfest as they hold the city’s first ever Hackathon.
“We are trying to come up with creative solutions to problems in the city,” Etter said.
